There are many lesson plans that have been used successfully over the years. But two of the best tools are stories and games…
Story
It’s one of the best self esteem lessons for kids. They like it most and are fascinated by the characters in the stories. As they have a lot of imagination and like to put Themselves in the character’s shoes. Kids imagine that they are in the story or they are the hero or heroine. This is why, they can be motivated easily by a good story.
What kind of story we should chose for our kids ?
We Need to make sure story is good for improving kids self esteem. You can choose a story that have one or more characters who undermine his or her or their ability like talent, intelligence – then there is the journey of self discovery in the story. They win the day by overcoming fear, weakness, all the problems.
Than what ?
After end of The story, engage them in a discussion or ask them what they would like to do if they were character of the story. Moreover, you can ask questions to the kids as you read the storybooks for them.

Games
Second tool can be games to improve your kid’s self esteem … we can, motivate our kids by games like bean game or other games. Here we are going to talk about bean game particularly.
why i am discussing only about bean game? … it’s only a example. You can try lot other games for your kids too.
Bean game
This game will assess your child’s self image and at the same time you can enforce positive opinions to your child. For the beanbag game you will need a poster board ( preferably a large one) and draw a 3 x 3 matrix on it.
In each square, you write or draw the different aspects of your child’s life on each square of the matrix. For example you can write or draw a school to represent the school life of your child. You can write or draw a representation of parents to signify relationships. Be creative and try to address the more important issues.
Lay your poster board on the floor and give your child a beanbag. Let him or her toss it on the poster board and see where it lands. If it lands in the school box, let him or her to tell you about school – opinions, events, and feelings toward the school. This also applies to the other squares.
once your kid finishes his or her discussion, it is your turn- to toss the beanbag. If it lands in the school, you tell your child all the things about school that makes you proud of him or her. It could be a quiz that he or she aced, or it could be for always waking up early so as not to be late. Do this cycle again and again until you finish all the squares.
